Stevie Chedid is a Lebanese-American writer from the Northeast currently based in Montana. She received her MFA from the University of Montana, where she held the Truman Capote Fellowship and studied both fiction and creative nonfiction. Chedid has been invited to serve as the nonfiction editor of New Orleans Review beginning in September 2026.

Her work has appeared in Longreads, The New York Times Magazine,New Orleans Review, Plentitudes Journal, Tahoma Literary Review, Adirondack Life Magazine, Edge Effects, Greenpointers, and elsewhere. Recent works of hers have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, John Borroughs Award, The Best American Essays, and named a finalist for Best of Net 2026.
